DESCRIPTION:The Annual SWANA Doctoral Workshop in Late- and Post-Ottoman St

 . This year\, we are thrilled to host Prof. Dr. Sherene Seikaly of the Uni
 versity of California\, Santa Barbara to lead our 14th annual workshop on 
 the topic of “A Global History of Palestine.” For more information on 
 the content of the workshop\, please see below. The 2026 workshop will be 
 held in person between Friday\, 18 September 2026 (13:30 p.m.) and Saturda
 y\, 19 September (14:30 p.m.) at the University of Basel.
