Opening Belgrade: CITIES ON THE MOVE – POST-OTTOMAN

Opening of the travelling exhibition in the Historical Museum of Serbia in Belgrade

For its first stop outside Switzerland, the travelling exhibition CITIES ON THE MOVE – POST-OTTOMAN was brought to Serbia. Collaborating closely with the Museum of Yugoslavia, the exhibition was presented to the public in the Historical Museum of Serbia on 7 November 2017. In the presence of the diplomatic representation of Switzerland an a large crowd of visitors, Prof. Dr. Nataša Mišković and Prof. Dr. Mehmed Akšamija gave a guided tour through the exhibition. TV reports and numerous press articles on the exhibition are proof of the great interest shown by the Belgrade as well as the Serbian public in general.
