Burak Sayim has written a module on Turkey for the American Historical Review's teaching project.
The American Historical Review’s launched Authoritarianism 101: A Global History last week. The project offers teachers and students a broad perspective on the history of authoritarianism. It is comprised of 30 teaching modules that explore singular instances of the authoritarian past written by scholars working on authoritarian histories in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and North America. Each module features a core question and a primary source, along with some historical context and a suggested teaching plan. All of the modules are free to read on the Authoritarianism 101 website.
