Curriculum Vitae
Serdar Kandil studied Economics (BA) at Yildiz Technical University and European Studies (MA) at Sabanci University in Istanbul. He is a doctoral candidate at the University of Basel since 2018; was part of the Sociology Department until 2024, and had to change to the Near and Middle Eastern Studies for administrative reasons. He is a member of the Feminist Researchers Against Borders and the Research Association Switzerland-Turkey. His research explores the legal integration of Alevism in ten European countries.
